Tuesday was Bess's birthday & another work party at Ennerdale, Andy joined the work party whilst Karen went off to take some more fixed point pictures with the dogs.
Karen had managed to leave the sd card for the camera in the computer so there aren't many pictures as we weren't sure how much memory the camera had.
After walking the length of the lake from Bowness we headed up the start of the path up Haycock. It isn't a very distinctive path & were glad when we reached the point where the pictures were to be taken
As you can see it is rather overgrown with ferns
We walk back down to the Liza for our next spot & the dogs manage to get in on this one
Then along the valley floor & a climb up the first section of the Pillar path
After lunch we retrace our steps back down to the valley floor
Red Pike & High Stile crisp & clear today
