Ennerdale Work Party 28/06/11

On Tuesday we had another work party and the plan was to do some more repair work on the Lisa path but first we had to clear a tree that had got stuck under Irish bridge. The tree had blocked the flow under the bridge and had created 2 channels that were undercutting the river bed. As you can see from the picture it had created an island of gravel.

Malcolm starts sawing it into manageable pieces.

We then went up the valley and cleared some trees from an archaeological site and then onto the Lisa path for more repairs.
