Lakes Rocks 2010

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Lakes Rocks at Lillyhall near Workington. We had been to the concert last year & really enjoyed the live music. This years line up contained some bands we knew & some that were new to us. From experience last year we knew to take chairs, so positioned by the beer tent we were all set. First up were seventh wave that did a great set of covers including The Stereophonics - Dakota Followed by Ask For Mike, a young group we did not know who played their own music

Then Gav, who due to earlier technical problems had to make do with a short set which was a shame

Sour Mash another band who have played at the Robbo, great covers including Fleetwood Mac's Go Your Own Way

Then another young group from Barrow - The Mooncats

We met up with Liam & some of his mates

Lastly for us was Adam Amor

We had timed it so we could get the last bus back, we saw all but 3 of the groups & had a really good afternoon
