A Patrol Around Sale Fell

Today we did our first patrol of the year.  We parked up at Peel Wyke (the Forestry Commission depot) to discover the section through Wythop Woods was closed so we moved the car to just beyond Routenbeck as we could do about 3/4 of the patrol & then cut back to the car.
The first section is a gentle climb with some patchy snow near the path

It was a lovely walk, with the weather set to be fine for the next few days hopefully we can get out again & play in more of the white stuff.
