Over the last two work parties much of the focus has been to complete the bridge over High Beck.
This is Bernie working to assemble & fit the handrails to the span beams
Steps upto the bridge have also been built
Our job last week was a little less glamorous as we were clearing out drains beside the path
This week the bridge needed painting & final tidying up of the abutments
The tarpaulin was to stop any paint dripping into the water
And there we have it a finished bridge

It’s rewarding to see the results of several work parties be completed, lets hope this one lasts for a good few years, “Midge” Bridge – JOB DONE
